The aim of this project is to
provide training opportunities which young people
can follow in - house as part of the support they
receive.
The programme
aims to work with young people in a relaxed, non-classroom
environment to -
Build
self esteem and confidence
Build
life and job skills
Build
capacity in their communities
Provide
training and education in a safe and accessible environment
Give young
people a chance to address their needs through informal
learning .and so improve employability and reduce
potential social exclusion.
We also
work closely with young people to identify and develop
a range of activities to suit their needs. In addition
to the training opportunities, here are just some
of the other activities on offer:
Football
Relaxation workshops
Music workshops
Art workshop
Crafts
Activity days out
Monday breakfast club
Through
these programmes we work towards our purpose to enable
young people to develop and enhance their skills so
that they can live independently and become active
citizens of the community in which they live.
